Sorry About The Last Six Months

Okay, okay....I know I'm the world's worst blogger.  It's not that I don't like to blog, I just forget.  No excuses, I will try to update you more often.  The last six months I have been busy trying to keep up with my very mobile, very curious child.  She is now eight months old!  She crawls all over the place, pulls herself up to stand and tries to get into everything!  It's so fun to watch her learn new things.  During our recent trip to Utah (I don't have pics from my sister yet), Grandpa Dawson taught Sadie how to clap!  We have so much fun together and I'm always a little sad to put her to bed at night.  Look at how big she is!

I can't leave her alone for two seconds anymore.  Just yesterday she learned how to get out of her Bumbo.  That's right, babies CAN get out of them.  I'm just glad I learned about her new trick without her falling off the counter.  I was doing dishes and one minute she was sitting in her Bumbo, the next minute she was lying on the counter trying to help me.  Not too long ago, when she was still scooting instead of crawling, she pushed herself under the couch and couldn't get out!  She thought it was funny for a minute and then realized that she was stuck and started screaming.

She is very photogenic.  I guess it's unusual for babies to have dark eyebrows because she gets comments all the time on how nice her eyebrows are.   At least she got one thing from me (and  her charming personality of course).

Sadie chews on everything.  Just after she turned seven months she received her first two teeth.  She loves to bite toys, graham crackers, and mommy.

One of her many talents, Sadie is an expert at rolling her tongue.  It is constantly moving in her little mouth.

But the best thing about Sadie is that she's always happy.  You can get her to smile pretty much any time of the day.  She loves watching Baby Einstein and her face lights up when the caterpillar comes in during the opening credits.  She laughs all the time and loves attention, of course.  I am so lucky to have this little angel in my life.  She makes me smile every day.

I'm so in love with her! I just need a bit more time around her to truly cover her in some kisses and hugs! Document all of it! Before you know it, they're getting baptized!
